The “Bodhirajayen Niwasata” project, organized by the Lions Club of Siyanepura, was an innovative community initiative designed to empower students to generate their own income to support their education while promoting environmental sustainability.
Held on 20th December, the project involved the distribution of banana plants to every student, teacher, and non-academic staff member of Bodhiraja National School. Participants were encouraged to cultivate the plants at home, providing families with a sustainable source of food and the opportunity to earn additional income from future harvests.
This meaningful initiative promoted self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and environmental responsibility while inspiring students to understand the value of hard work and sustainable living. Through projects like this, the Lions Club of Siyanepura continues to invest in the long-term development and well-being of future generations.
